Sea Change has lifted the energy from Norway, Berlin, and L.A. to funnel it through synth pop while weaving these club cultures together in her new album Inside. Space and time bend with the drums and the whole album sounds like it is re-arranging the world.

The single, Stepping Out, sits on the edge of industrial as it echoes an icy, dark evening at a winter rave in an abandoned warehouse. You’ll have to create the heat on your own so this track is here with the perfect amount of sonic friction to spark a fire.

Track 4, Scratch that Itch, will make you feel like you’ve stepped into another dimension. Ellen Sunde’s voice jumps while it feels like someone calling to you from miles away and from all directions. You’ll want to search for something while listening, but what you find is up to you.

The Bed scratches its nails down your back, and digs into your past heartbreak. You’ll count your hidden scars with every word held up by wobbles and white noise distortion.

Inside is full of drips and drops that tick with perfect timing. The sound fills every corner of your headspace. Inside is where we live with the cold and the darkness embraced by the beauty that spills out of this album.
