Sapphire Blues release electric new single ‘Daydream’

Home > News > Sapphire Blues release electric new single ‘Daydream’

Following on from the release of their previous single, Ourselves Forgotten, Bristol punks Sapphire Blues have returned with their new single, Daydream, their second release through Blitzcat. Listen below.

Daydream sees the band discuss the age-old and personal struggle of being overworked yet underpaid, and the dampening role that anti-depressants can have within it. The track features strong vocals which bode well with it’s dark, atmospheric instrumentation. Reminiscent of the likes of The Murder Capital and Shame, Daydream will become an instant hit with listeners.

Sapphire Blues have already had huge successes, already the band have sold out local venues and supported the likes of Talk Show and Lumer. The band were hailed ‘punks most exciting newcomers’ by So Young Magazine, and with Daydream it’s clear to see why. This release proves Sapphire Blues to be an innovative band that you should keep a close eye on.
