Sahati – Post-Kid EP

18-year-old singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Sahati is releasing her debut EP Post-Kid on April 29th.

In true DIY fashion, Sahati has had her talented hands on every aspect of Post-Kid, and the release of it onto the world. She pulls in experiences from her multi-cultural background and blends them skilfully with influences like Bikini Kill, Radiohead, and a hint of Nada Surf. This is what having control over your art looks like, a raw and honest lyrical perspective behind rich and sublime sounds.

After opening for Miley Cyrus at the Sunny Hill Festival in 2019, Sahati gathered collaborators from Toronto, Vancouver, and Kosovo to create music that weaves in and out of genres with deliberate and rebellious harmony. The track Stop Wasting my Time sounds like an ode to angst egged on by the 90s and Be With You has a soft but alien quality to it, much like a Sia love song. All in all, Post-Kid is living proof that breaking ground is in Sahati’s nature.
