An incredible start for the English group that will hopefully be a sign of things to come.

Debut EP’s can be tricky ventures for new bands, especially for a band like Dancing Years. Too many times have we seen a band that has released a few cracking singles fall flat when they release their first EP. Well I’m glad to tell you that this EP not only blows my above statement out of the water, but makes it completely invalid.

An incredible start for Dancing Years that will hopefully be a sign of things to come.

In short, Learn To Kiss is the best debut EP I think I’ve ever heard. There is a presence about each song that keeps your undivided attention throughout, some more than others. Each song flows in an effortless elegance that I have rarely experienced in my days reviewing music.

The band have made use of a violin on many of the tracks they have released, and it is an absolute masterclass on closing track April. Alone on Valentine’s Day? Well this is the perfect EP to get your mind off the lack of chocolate and flowers.
