Following on from the single Some Other Dude, London based four piece Everywhere today reveal their sophomore EP Fiction Act right here on indieisnotagenre.com. The new EP will be on iTunes on December 9 and is available to pre-order now, coming with the ‘instant grat’ track Heroine as a free download.
Lead single Some Other Dude now has over 1 million plays on Spotify gained them a feature on BBC Introducing London. This advance success certainly helped pave the way for Fiction Act as the band says in their own words:
’Some Other Dude’ allowed us to find a new direction that has clearly influenced the sound of our new EP
During the recording process of the new EP the band have divided their time between Stockholm, Los Angeles and London to collaborate with a number of producers, including American hit maker Mark Needham (The 1975, The Killers). His influence is certainly evident on Everywhere’s funky pop rock sound.
Having made their first International appearance at the 2013 NME Awards in the UK, Everywhere recently finished their first proper UK tour with stops in Brighton, Liverpool and Glasgow amongst others. They have also played alongside Django Django and Palma Violets, and later went on to support the Kaiser Chiefs and headline Notting Hill Arts Club in London.
Fiction Act is available as of December 9th from all digital retailers and is available to stream now.
