Polar States are an upcoming pop four piece from Liverpool who have just dropped their latest single Gold, taken from the forthcoming Electric debut EP, out on April 28th. Gold is an anthemic pop rock tune with tropical guitars and infectious synths. Listen below.

According to vocalist and guitarist Paul Tong the song is about valuing what you have.

The ‘million in my heart line’ was basically a way of saying you should see wealth not in terms of money, but in terms of the people around you whom matter.

After completing a 10 date UK tour in support of their previous single Elizabeth, Polar States sold out the local Liverpool o2 Academy twice. Elizabeth made the BBC Radio 1 ‘Best Of Introducing’ playlist as well as the Topshop playlist.

In 2016 the band also appeared at Liverpool Sound CityTramlines and X&Y Festival in addition to supporting Clean Cut Kid, The Japanese House, We Were Promised Jetpacks and more. Polar States have been confirmed for a run of festival shows across the UK. Dates can be found below.
