This week saw American rockers, Nada Surf, return with the announcement of their ninth studio album, Never Not Together which is due to be released February 7th. To tie in with the announcement, the band has also released a new singleSomething I Do which is available now.
Something I Do is a powerful track which is urgent in its message, featuring stunning synths and spoken word, with the lyric “Empathy is good, lack of empathy is bad, holy math says we’re never not together,” standing out most, highlighting Matthew Caws’ thoughts about 21st century life.
With Never Not Together the band further pursue their humanistic view of society with catchy tracks with sharp yet tender lyrics. Never Not Together is a broad collection of songs which showcase the bands ability to evoke thought and show grand emotion.

The album was recorded at RockField Studios in Wales, where artists such as Echo & The Bunnymen, Oasis and Iggy Pop have also recorded.
