Marsicans today reveal a video for their latest single Your Eyes which is out now via LAB Recordings. The video sees the band performing in a working men’s club in front of non-band versions of themselves. Watch below.

Singer and guitarist James Newbigging comments on the video for Your Eyes:

For this one, we teamed up with our friends at Sodium, an independent film company based in Leeds who are doing some amazing things. The video basically shows our alternative selves watching our real selves performing. So it’s something of a “what might have been” if we all didn’t choose to pursue a career in music, tying in with the song’s main theme about choosing your path in life

Your Eyes is also the first track to be revealed from the band’s forthcoming debut album which will be released this summer. On March 22nd, the single will be released on limited edition 7″ vinyl picture disc. The 7″ comes with the exclusive b-side Tallest Stories, with lead vocals entirely from bassist Rob Brander. Pre-orders are available here.

Marsicans are set to play two in-store shows at Leeds’ Jumbo Records (21 March) and Rough Trade Nottingham (23 March). In April the band will embark on a UK headline tour with BBC’s Abbie McCarthy Good Karma Club. Support on all dates comes from Lucia. All dates and tickets can be found here.
