Kurb are a new female-fronted rock outfit from Brighton. The four piece only recently made their live debut at London’s Roundhouse where they opened for Black Honey and Hannah Lou Clark as part of the Roundhouse Rising Festival 2016. Their first hometown show is scheduled for March 31st at the Mash Tun Brighton.

Having only been a band since late 2015, Kurb recorded their debut single Guilty with producer John Parish, who is known for his work with PJ Harvey, Tracey Chapman, Sparklehorse and Eels among others.

Kurb name a variety of influences ranging from Sonic Youth to Arcade Fire and, in the case of vocalist Aimee Montague, Fleetwood Mac to Lauryn Hill. Guilty is a smooth mix of alternative rock and groovy pop sensibilities. Check it out below.
