Indie rock veterans Kaiser Chiefs have just announced their seventh studio album Duck will be released on July 26th via Polydor (artwork and tracklisting below). Coinciding with this news, the Leeds quintet today share their brand new single Record Collection. Listen below.

Frontman Ricky Wilson comments on Record Collection:

It came quickly, it’s a vibe. It’s about the internet and frustration with the internet, about how it rules our lives, but we don’t really understand what it is and how we just click accept.

Duck was recorded and mixed with producer Ben Allen whom they also worked with on their #1 UK album Education, Education, Education and War. After their latest album Stay Together was met with mixed reviews, Duck goes back to the sound of their breakthrough albums while retaining pop sensibilities.

Bassist Simon Rix comments:

We wanted to do something that had a Kaiser Chiefs DNA but still try and do something different. It has the right spirit.
