Heyrocco drop new EP, stream ‘Build It Up’

Heyrocco 2016

Following on from their critically acclaimed debut album Teenage Movie Soundtrack that was released last year, North Carolina grunge rockers Heyrocco dropped their new EP Waiting On Cool in May.

The title apparently refers to the artwork in which we see Nate Merli (vocals and guitar) and Taco Cooper (drums) wait for bass player Christopher Cool (yes, that’s his real name).

Heyrocco  first plugged in their parent’s garage five years ago. In between playing over 100 live shows throughout Europe, the US & Canada, the band teamed up with artist and procucer Brendan Benson of The Raconteurs and recorded the EP earlier this year in Nashville.

Waiting On Cool is available via the usual digital outlets and the first single, Build It Up, is streaming below.
