Hull rock quartet Fronteers today announce that their debut EP Streets We’re Born In will be released on July 8th via the band’s hometown label Warren Records. The band also stream the their new single Full Moon which will be on the EP.
Despite only being around for a year, Fronteers have released a pretty strong debut single, Youth, last year which was followed by Idol earlier this year.
The band prefer to call the 4 track EP a quadruple A side, double 7”, because they hold each song in the same high regard.
We set out with the aim of making an EP where any one of the four songs could be the lead track, then we thought the best way to put it out would be as two double A sided singles packaged together, it just kind of made sense.
Following support slots with Blossoms and Pretty Vicious and an NME Awards show at Dingwall’s, Fronteers sold out a hometown show at the New Adelphi. They are thrilled to announce details of their next Hull gig; an EP Launch show at Fruit on Sat 9th July. Tickets go on sale this Friday (13th May) here.
In addition to playing a string of headline dates in May and June, the band is also confirmed for numerous festivals this summer including Live at Leeds, The Great Escape Festival and Isle of Wight Festival. Tour dates can be found below.
