Eight long years after their last album (2011’s Pala), Friendly Fires have just announced the release of their long awaited third album Inflorescent for August 16th via Casablanca / Polydor. Coinciding with this news, the trio have dropped the album’s first single, titled Silhouettes. Listen below.

The announcement follows on from recent single duo Love Like Waves and Heaven Let Me In as well as a run of live shows last year. After an eternal hiatus, Ed Macfarlane, Edd Gibson and Jack Savidge, who have been friends since they were 7 years old, met again at Macfarlane’s parents’ garage at the end of 2017 and started recording new music where it all began.
