Having recently supported Maximo Park on their European tour, London trio FLAWES today reveal their new single This Could Be Real, available now from all digital retailers. The track is the first taster from their forthcoming debut album, set for release in 2018.

The new single follows on from Forever, which was released this summer, and is FLAWES’ second musical output as a trio and probably their most upbeat one to date.

Frontman JC comments on This Could Be Real:

This Could Be Real is definitely our most honest song to date. The song is based at the start of a relationship that was unexpected and unplanned. It goes through the thoughts and realisation that it is something special worth fighting for.

FLAWES have performed at a host of festivals including Live at Leeds, The Great Escape Festival, Reeperbahn (Germany) and were also hand-picked to perform on the Introducing stage at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Hull earlier this summer.

Although FLAWES have only been around since September 2015, their early career has taken off explosively. Their debut single Don’t Wait For Me entered the Spotify UK Viral Chart at #8 and was used on the trailers for hit TV series Lie To Me.
