Leeds rockers Fizzy Blood release their first new music of 2018 with new single CFO. Following on from the Summer Of Luv EP which was released in September 2017, the new track premiered on the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show and reinforces the Leeds quintet’s signature rock sound. Listen below.

The band comment on the new single:

Broadly speaking, ‘C.F.O.’ is a warning about pushing people away who only had your best interests at heart. It’s easy to lose sight of things when you’re mired down in a single minded pursuit. So what I’m trying to say is, stop and smell the roses every once in a while, you’ll thank yourself later.

Guitarist Paul Howells commets on the meaning of CFO:

This is one of those things that is better left up to your imagination. Whatever you think C.F.O. stands for, that’s what it is

Fizzy Blood have supported the likes of While She Sleeps, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Arcane Roots, Spring King and appeared at last year’s SXSW, The Great Escape, Download, 2000 Trees and Reading & Leeds festivals. Fresh from touring with Spring King, the band will embark on their their first UK headline run. Support comes from fellow Leeds residents Forever Cult. All dates and tickets can be found below.
