New DMA’s album drops on April 24th 2020

Ahead of their UK tour in November, Sydney’s DMA’s today return with their brand new single Silver, the first taster for their third album, set for release on April 24th 2020. The new single is also their first new music since 2018’s critically acclaimed For Now and follows on from the MTV Unplugged Live album released this summer. Watch and listen to Silver below.

UK headline date at Brixtion Academy on March 6th 2020

The band have also confirmed they will be playing their biggest UK headline show to date at the O2 Academy Brixton in London on 6th March 2020. Pre-sale access will be granted to all album pre-orders and mailing list subscriptions (no purchase required). The artwork and tracklisting for the new album will be revealed soon. For now, CD and vinyl bundles are available to pre-order, including a limited bundle including a 7”of current single Silver.

Over the the summer, the band has been busy with appearances at Isle of Wight, TRNSMT and Citadel festivals as well as support slots for The Courteeners and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. In November, they will be joining Liam Gallagher (who has described For Now as “biblical”) as main support on his nearly sold out UK tour. Remaining tickets are available here.

DMA’s – Silver (Official Video)

The video for Silver was directed by New Zealand’s Charlotte Evans who has previously worked with Aldous Harding and Marlon Williams. Produced by Scott Horscroft (Empire Of The Sun, Silverchair) at The Grove Studios, and mixed by multiple Grammy winner Stuart Price (The Killers, Everything Everything) at Westlake Studios in West Hollywood, the new song is also the first taster for DMA’s third album which will be released on 2020 (details TBA).
