On March 6th 2020, just before the world went into lockdown, Aussie rockers DMA’s played to a sold out crowd at London’s Brixton Academy. Almost exactly one year later, on March 5th 2021, the band will release Live At Brixton digitally and on limited edition vinyl.

Coinciding with the announcement, the trio have also shared the new live audio and video for Lay Down, one of the standout tracks from their debut album Hills End. Watch and listen below.

Its design inspired by a flare that was set off during the show, a smoke-effect pink/orange limited edition double vinyl of the live album is available to pre-order as of now.

The O2 Academy Brixton marks DMA’s biggest headline show to date and preceded the release of their critically acclaimed third studio album, The Glow, released in April 2020. For many, the band included, it was the final gig before the live music scene had to come to a halt. The band comment:

Our first ever show in the UK was the opening slot at Brixton Academy so this is just totally emblematic of the support that has grown overseas we are ever grateful for. It’s still the greatest show we have ever played and we will never forget that night. See you all soon! Stay safe.
