Aussie rockers DMA’s have just dropped their brand new single I don’t need to hide. The new song arrives alongside a stunning Lucy Knox directed video.

I don’t need to hide is the trio’s first new music since last year’s surprise EP I Love You Unconditionally, Sure Am Going To Miss You and their 2020 album The Glow that peaked at position 4 in the UK album charts.

I don’t need to hide takes vocalist Tommy O’Dell’s vocal capabilities to the next level as he croons the lyrics “Thinking about a better time, Thinking about a better way to love, So I don’t need to hide.” Guitarist and primary songwriter Johnny Took comments on the meaning behind the single:

There’s a confidence you obtain when you find someone who loves you for all your faults, quirks and obscurities. They make you feel like you don’t need to hide anything from anyone anymore.

DMA’s will play the main stage at Reading & Leeds Festivals later this months before returning to the UK in October for a run of headline dates. Remaining tickets are available here*.
