Darlia – Beam Me Up

Darlia are a rock four piece from Blackpool who have recently released their new single Beam Me Up. The song was produced by Darlia’s vocalist and main songwriter Nathan Day and Frank Colucci. Beam Me Up is about the catharsis of songwriting. Nathan explains:

It amazes me how brutally open you can be in songs and not even wince when it gets put out into the world… I wrote this song because I can’t afford a therapist. I’m lucky that writing songs is a legitimate coping mechanism.

Beam Me Up is the follow-up to Ballad of Black & White. Having recently sold out their headline show at London’s Camden Assembly in just a day, Darlia will be touring the UK in Autumn 2017. Dates include Birmingham, Bristol, London (Scala), Leeds and Newcastle.

Ahead of their headline tour, they’ll be supporting Twin Atlantic on their UK tour in May and will also play a number of festivals including: The Great Escape, Community Festival (w/ Catfish and the Bottlemen) and Tenement Trail. Dates can be found below.
