Craig Irving press shot 2019

Following in from his debut single Heart, Glasgow singer Craig Irving drops his single Fall on July 26th, 2019. Irving’s history of folk finds its way to the surface of this song through the lyrical rounds he makes with his noteworthy voice and the underlying melody of the track. He keeps the genre youthful by merging it with a bright, rock edge. Listen below.

The brisk tap of the drums under the words “my eyes, they always fall on you” call attention to how yearning and infatuation take over the senses. Irving overlaps his lyrics, adding the familiar dizziness that comes with new romance to this soft, sweet song. With his voice alone, he pinpoints that life-altering moment you realize that you’re in love.

Fall is out now via all digital retailers.
