Charlie Cunningham 2019 press shot

Singer/ Songwriter and phenomenal guitarist Charlie Cunningham will grace us with his second album, Permanent Way, on June 7th, 2019 via Infectious/BMG. “I’m quite a private person outside of performing” Cunningham has said, and it is obvious that this is private music. Permanent Way is music to be left alone to, to travel inward with, to center all the spinning chaos around your bones.

As usual, Cunningham makes the acoustic exhilarating while burying his lyrics in our soul with his incredible voice. The title track, Permanent Way, opens the album with a spirited beat that tumbles optimistically. It will leave you floating. Headlights blends lightness with bittersweet memories.

Bite carries an edge familiar to anyone who has experienced something toxic. He howls “the stone cold friends that let you keep poisoning your blood/Those same friends mock you when they leave poison in your blood.”

Permanent Way is nothing short of spellbinding. Cunningham’s voice will enthrall you with its classic qualities and bottomless depth. It will force you to reveal all the romantic feelings hidden inside you.
