Bel Esprit – Crucible

Southampton rockers Bel Esprit make their return with their new single Crucible which follows on from Leave Me Here and the Lose My Mind EP which were released last year.

Crucible is a powerful alternative rock ballad with a huge chorus that is quite a bit heavier than their previous work. Deriving their band name from a monetary fund set up for T.S. Eliot to get him out of his day job and write poetry full time, Bel Esprit evidently share the same ambition.

Having already supported the likes of Ezra Furman and To Kill A King, Bel Esprit are set to embark on a headline tour this spring to celebrate the single’s release. Tour dates can be found below. If you want to get an idea of their live capabilities, head to our gig review here.
