If you’re looking for a band who are talented at masking sad lyrics with an upbeat, synth-led pop track, Bad Love are for you. The alt pop quartet from Manchester have just released their new single A Place For Me. Combining the music of pop artists such as The 1975 and LANY, Bad Love create their own unique sound full to the brim with synths. Listen below.

The quartet’s latest track A Place For Me is their third single and adds to an impressive collection of songs perfect for a late night drive (especially in the rain). This track has infectious riffs complimented by lead singer Andy Gannon’s melodious vocals.

‘I know you’re scared of the affection’ is one of their sincere lyrics that explores the difficulty of finding new love after being hurt by a previous one. Speaking about the track, Andy described the song as ‘trying to move on and not carry your past with you’ in relationships.

Listen to Bad Love’s buoyant new single, and you will instantly have A Place For It in your heart.
