Having recently played their biggest headline show to date in their hometown of Hamilton, Arkells have just announced a headline tour of the UK and Germany for November. The tour follows on from their recent support slot for Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls in May. All dates and ticket links can be found below.
Frontman Max Kerman comments on touring the UK:
Touring with Frank Turner was like finding a long-lost brother. When it comes to putting on an entertaining show, we care about the same things. The tour in the UK was insane every night. It was an amazing opportunity to play cities we’d never been to before, and we can’t wait to rekindle the relationship with those crowds.
Arkells have recently released their latest single People’s Champ which follows on from last year’s Knocking At The Door. Both track are taken from their forthcoming fifth album due out later this year, the follow-up to the acclaimed Morning Report.
In June, Arkells unleashed their own festival called ‘The Rally’ at Tim Horton’s Field football stadium in their hometown of Hamilton featuring special guests Cold War Kids and Bishop Briggs. They also just headlined the Canada Day concert and national broadcast live from Ottawa.
Arkells will be joined by London-based art-rockers Felix Hagan And The Family on all dates.
