Having recently announced the release of their debut albumSilver Dollar Moment (out on Friday 16th February), Halifax trio The Orielles today reveal album cut Blue Suitcase (Disco Wrist). Listen below.

The Orielles consist of sisters Sidonie B and Esmé Dee Hand Halford and their best friend Henry Carlyle Wade. Their debut album wasd recorded at Eve Studio in Stockport in the late summer of 2017 with producer Marta Salongi (Bjork, Insecure Men).

The band comment on the new track:

Blue Suitcase is a track that was mostly written over the last few days of summer, inspired by events, discussions and ‘philosophical’ musings that took place in the studio during the recording of the album. We wanted to completely let loose with the track, combining psych- garage wig outs with elements of our favourite disco and dance boogie tracks.

The Orielles have also announced in-store performances at Rough Trade in Nottingham, Bristol, and London during their UK tour in February.

Having already sold-out shows across the country, including their last three London shows at the Finsbury, Social and Lexington, they make a live return in the spring of next year with a run of shows across Europe and the UK. All dates can be found below.
