The Carnabys are aptly named after one of London’s hippest streets. The South West London five piece just released their new single Elizabeth on August 5th, the third track to be revealed from their new album Too Much, Never Enough (out August 19th).
Elizabeth is about some of the more interesting uses of our currency. Musically, it is rawer than their previous outing and even reminds me of some of Arctic Monkey’s earlier work.
The Carnabys are putting the album, up for pre-sale 3-months in advance of its release in August and will donate all their earnings to Music Venue Trust to pull UK live venues back from the brink of closure. Music Venue Trust have recently announced The Carnabys as their latest patrons alongside Frank Turner, Slaves and Elbow.
