A few days ago, we introduced you to Röyksopp’s new single Running To The Sea which once again features the intoxicating vocals of Susanne Sandfør. Welsh electro duo Man Without Country, who are huge fans of Röyksopp, have now remixed the single and also added some of their own vocals which complement Susanne’s beautifully.
The remix, as well as several others, is exclusively available on Beatport.

Blur’s Girls & Boys which came out in 1994 (God, I feel old now…) has always been one of my favourite songs. Today Swiss DJ Ryan Riot sent us a remix of said song and it’s a free download too.
Ryan Riot is a swiss Producer/Remixer/DJ. After he failed with his career as a musician in the noise-rock duo “The Boarderline Personality”, because of absolute untalented instrument control of both band members, he switched his position behind the decks.
Here’s the original version by Blur.

Bloc Party not only play in Ferropolis for the third time but celebrate their return to the stage after a two-year hiatus as well. To mark the occasion, a remix of Bloc Party’s new single Octopus by RAC (short for “Remix Artist Collective“), who are known to uniquely blend hip hop influences with vintage drums and synthesizers, will be this year’s official Melt! Festival song.
The single Octopus will be released simultaneously with the band’s fourth album, Four, on 24th August, celebrating the four-piece band’s smashing return to the stage. “The record is the sound of four people in a room, loving what they do and doing it to the best of their ability. It is the sound that only the four of us could make, and I am prouder of it than any record we have ever made”, Kele comments on the new album.
