We Are Alaska are a young band hailing from Hamburg. They’re currently supporting In Golden Tears on their tour.
They sent me a link to their single October yesterday which I think you should give a listen. October is a dark and beautiful melancholic song.
In celebration of today’s release of Underneath The Balance, In Golden Tears have posted a video for said song. The single is available as of today via Humming Records/Rough Trade on Vinyl (with download code).

In Golden Tears from Hamburg, Germany have just posted Underneath the Balance as a follow-up to their first single Urban Emotions (free download). Underneath the Balance will be released on April 20th. On the same day their headliner tour throughout Germany, the UK and some other European cities will start.
Recorded at Clouds Hill Studio, where Bombay Bicycle Club and Dillon recorded their latest records, Underneath the Balance is poppy post-punkesque tune that holds a promising future for this young band from northern Germany.
In Golden Tears are currently working on their debut album.
