Little White Things is a pop duo consisting of Irishman David Behan and Swede Max Bergstrom. The met at a late night afterparty in East London where they, having little else in common, bonded over a mutual love for ’60s psychedelic rock and The Beatles. The following day the started writing and recording music in David’s makeshift bedroom studio
Step Back is the their first single and is the result of a combination of David’s love for big pop choruses and Max’s folky guitar sensibilities. If you like MGMT or Foster The People, you’ll certainly enjoy Step Back.
The single was released on Friday and comes with a video shot by Steffen Wendt Andréa from Copenhagen. His vision with the video was to ‘unite the world through Instagram, and to show the beauty in the similarity of the individual’.
Step Back is out now via Chess Club Records (Swim Deep, Sundara Karma, Pumarosa). It will also see a physical release next year, featuring on a AA-side vinyl with their yet untitled second single.
